Macroscopic and Ultrasound Evaluation of a Giant Sub mucosal Leiomyoma with Cystic Degeneration: Differential Diagnosis
Leiomyoma has a high prevalence, but in most cases it is benign. We can usually reach the diagnosis based only on typical ultrasound images and the clinical symptoms. Here we report the case of a giant Leiomyoma with cystic degeneration, which required an initial differential diagnosis with malignancy.
